Residential Care

Eden Cottage Care Home provides residential care for older people who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as washing, dressing, meal preparation, help with their mobility needs and administering medication. The needs of the individual will be assessed by a pre-admission assessment to ensure that we can meet their needs.
Staff members are available 24-hours a day and each individual will have a person-centered care plan specific for their individual needs. When required, district nurses, community matrons, and GPs can be called into the home to administer certain medicines, or to assist in treating any complex needs.

Dementia Care

Eden Cottage Care Home gives support to individuals, with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's/Dementia who are no longer able to live independently at home. These individuals require extra support to help them to maintain their psychological and physical well-being whilst ensuring that their dignity is maintained. Staff are fully trained to give support to service users with a cognitive impairment and a pre-admission assessment will be carried out to ensure that we can meet their individual needs. We use the world- renowned Teepa Snow's GEMS Positive approach to care which recognises what stage an individual has reached within the cognitive scale and this helps staff members to develop effective personal care plans.

Respite Care

Eden Cottage Care Home offers respite care for individuals who are looking to start their journey into care, or who need a temporary placement, to give their loved ones/carers a break. We will conduct a pre-admission assessment to ensure that we can meet their individual needs.
